As a supplier to the Diesel injection aftermarket for over 45 years, we pride ourselves having a very wide range of washers varying in size and thickness to cover the majority of applications.
As with the common rail injector, it is most important that the injector has the correct thickness of seating washer so that the atomised fuel is ignited and burnt at the correct point in the compression chamber. Again, failure to do this could result in lack of power, unburnt fuel and in some cases excessive smoke.
The majority of our seating washers are copper or phosphor bronze, and occasionally steel.
